Mission of the Washington Circle

There is a clear need to promote quality and accountability in the delivery and management of alcohol and other drug (AOD) services by organized systems of care, both public and private.  The WC believes this is best accomplished by adopting a process of care model and defining a set of measures for each domain within that model.  Moreover, the WC believes that accountability for AOD services is best achieved when system performance is compared across all domains of the process of care.

The WC is committed to developing evidence-based measures that allow for such comparison.
